Ubisoft renames Rainbow Six Quarantine to `Rainbow Six Extraction`

Ubisoft has announced Tom Clancy`s Rainbow Six Quarantine, its upcoming player-versus-environment (PvE) entry in the tactical shooter series, is now titled Tom Clancy`s Rainbow Six Extraction. The company confirmed the rebrand with its new teaser trailer ahead of its Ubisoft Forward E3 2021 show, where the publisher is expected to debut its first gameplay for the project. Ubisoft first unveiled the title at E3 2019, pitching a new cooperative experience, translating the fundamentals of Rainbow Six Siege to a PvE experience. The title suffered multiple public-facing delays, later slipping into 2021 as the pandemic forced the studio into a work-from-home setting. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ubisoft also dropped the Tom Clancy`s Rainbow Six Quarantine branding, settling on the internal `Parasite` codename in the latter months of development.
